A self-taught musician (piano, guitar, mandolin, harmonica and vocals), Malcolm Duff began learning the piano at the age of four. After playing in bands in the UK in the 70s and moving to France, he continued to write songs and record them after meeting Maristela da Silva, now his co-composer.

The lyrics of some of their songs are included in his first novel “Les Escorts”, and compiled in an album entitled “The Escorts” both released in spring 2023.
